Eisenhower Elementary

Dear Parents,

Happy 1st Trimester!

The PTA Team is pleased to be back at school once again “Honoring the Heroes of the Past and Present, while helping to shape the Heroes of the Future”. We are happy that our students have embraced our namesake, 5 Star General Dwight D. Eisenhower and do say “ I LIKE IKE”.

Please be certain to check your email each week for the PTA Newsflash, which will come to you via School Messenger.

This is a very busy time of year for the PTA and we have a lot of great events and activities coming up. As you know we just wrapped up our Fall PTA Membership drive. Other events our “Ain’t it Grand” Art Smarts night, Fall Box Tops Drive and Red Ribbon Week (October 23rd-31st) , our 2nd Annual “Run Like a Hero” Jog-a-thon once again honoring our namesake, Dwight D. Eisenhower, scheduled for Friday, October 27th. Our annual Jog-a-thon is the PTA’s primary fundraiser which allows us to put on all the amazing programs like Art Smarts, Accelerated Reader, Field Trips, Red Ribbon Week, the Reflections Art Program, and many others. You will be getting additional information for everything in the white folders as we get closer.
We will also be having Veteran’s Remembrance Week Activities, November 6th-9th. Our “Wild West” Book Fair will start on November 30th and we will be having our Winter Story Time Night on Frida, December 1st.

Thank you to everyone who joined the PTA during our August Membership Drive. We appreciate your support!
